Martyn and Jo at Advocate Events are simply the best at what they do. Their recent management of our sponsored walk (which, I may add, was entirely their idea) was outstanding. The whole event was entirely painless and our ROI was impressively healthy.
They are professional, creative and personable and I am happy to recommend them unreservedly to fundraisers looking for new events ideas, or a revamp of their existing events portfolio.

Challengers have been working with Martyn and Advocate Events since early 2011, with Martyn organising a 3 Peaks Challenge for us in October 2011. Martyn is an absolute pleasure to work with. My son William and I recently undertook the 3 Peaks Challenge with some work colleagues of mine which was organised by Martyn through his company Advocate Events. Martyn partners with charities to organise fundraising events for them. Morrisons is a member of Disability Challengers Business Club and the idea of entering a team for the 3 Peaks Challenge came about at one of the Business Club meetings. That is when we were introduced to Martyn. Through his enthusiasm a group of us from Morrisons decided to take up the Challenge to raise money for Disability Challengers.
It was 3 months from the initial meeting with Martyn to participating in the event. William and I had a fantastic time, in no small part due to Martyn's good humour, attention to detail and encouragement when it was needed (which was a lot in my case close to the end in conquering Snowdon when every step was an effort!). Martyn is very ably assisted by his wife Jo who deals with the admin aspects and they clearly make a good team, ensuring the smooth running of the events they are organising. Martyn also partners with a great Mountain Leader/Guide, Davie Robb, who helped us through some very difficult conditions (in particular a blizzard on Ben Nevis).
Both William and I came away very keen to undertake another challenge in the future with Advocate Events after an exhausting but immensely rewarding weekend.

I recently had the fantastic opportunity to participate in the national 3 Peaks Challenge with Advocate Events whilst fundraising for Disability Challengers. The level of support during both the preparation stages and the challenge itself was absolutely superb and there was nothing that Martyn and his colleagues hadn't thought of. The only thing I had to worry about was putting one foot in front of the other!
Both Martyn and our mountain guide (Davie Robb) were incredibly knowledgeable and I felt in very safe hands throughout despite some extreme adverse weather conditions on each mountain. I would thoroughly recommend Martyn and everyone at Advocate Events to provide a successful and truly enjoyable adventure!
